This affordable vacation rental suite, Log House Suite is located in the town centre of Sooke, a scenic one hour drive from the capital city of British Colombia, Victoria.
On the first block from the ocean, the suite is very quiet with an abundance of natural beauty and water views. The Rotary Pier boardwalk is a 5 minute walk away.
The property is surrounded by blossoming flowers, fruit trees, and a burgeoning veggie garden from July to November, making this lodging quite an attraction for the local deer population!

Log House Vacation Rental Suite is a ten minute walk to the Sooke town centre and five minutes to the Rotary Pier, where you can enjoy views of the Sooke Harbour framed by the majestic snow-capped Olympic Mountains to the south. It's also a great place to catch some fresh crab, picnic, or read your favorite book.
Along with the world famous West Coast Trail and Juan de Fuca Marine Trail, Sooke offers hundreds of kilometers of beautiful hiking trails to explore. The Galloping Goose Trail between Sooke and Victoria is well know for cyclists. Salmon fishing, whale watching, and kayaking are also some of the local activities you can get involved in during your visit to Sooke.
Vancouver Island is accessible by vehicle and passenger ferry from Vancouver/Lower Mainland and Washington State, as well as served by the Victoria International Airport.

Driving Directions from BC Ferries / Swartz Bay or the Victoria International
Airport: Follow Hwy. 17 South to Mackenzie exit. Turn right onto Mackenzie.
Turn right again onto Hwy 1 North. Take Exit 14 Sooke Road and drive for
30 minutes until you reach Sooke. In Sooke turn left on Murray Road (the
third traffic light, towards the water). Turn left on Horne Road. We are
the second house on the left.

From Seattle & Washington State: Take the Coho Ferry from
Port Angeles to downtown Victoria. www.cohoferry.com
Or take the passenger-only Clipper Ferry from downtown Seattle to downtown

Driving Directions From Victoria Harbour: Follow Douglas Street
North, and it turns into Hwy. 1. (Follow directions as above).
