In preparation of a broadcast quality production profiling the beauty of the area, I have been shooting stock footage for the past year. This Internet version of the snow of Jan 2002 will be incorporated into the final video.

Please note that the quality of the net vid is extremely poor. If you do not have a Pentium III or better AND a fast DSL or Cable connection, it will look downright "fuzzy & mushy".

Very digitized with the "fades" showing as square pixels. Overall, impressive compression and play of full motion video!

I can not seem to run this on my XP computer, it comes in as a bunch of funny letters. I did manage to force it open by opening Windows Media Player on my system, then typing in the address of the video http://sooke.org/snow/snow-wmv.wmv

Even then, it did not run as smooth as the Quicktime version!
